Farewell 2012

Not sure about you readers, but I'm excited to delve into 2013. I can't wait to see what God has in store for his children on the move. We move forward with newer and brighter experiences for Mae's Breath. We welcome our new relationships and our old. We are gracious for every big and small experience, and now we continue to grow and continue to make a stance for the new year coming.

My mother would be so proud that many people have stuck around for her memory. One effort that I would like to push here on this blog is a weekly review of updates lung cancer medicines, theories, and or news. 

Recently I heard of the passing of an influentual writer Lori Hope who shed light on her experience with lung cancer. I'm sadden by her recent death because it just stirs the thought that as we go on with coping with this disease - it's very real that anything can happen at anytime, while we cope.

I pray that this new year of all things is a HEALTHY year for us all. I wish you my readers the very best, and cheers to you and yours for a brighter and bigger new year.

We are excited to hopefully welcome the first of many creative endeavors in bringing awareness to lung disease. The search is on for creative designers to think outside the box in bringing
awareness to this horrendous disease during lung cancer awareness month. The grand prize for the best design concept is $100.00.

The Deadline for application process is 9/21.

Mae's Breath Support

August 4th the internet lines will be open as we establish MB On-line support group.
Our future aspirations will be to have direct one on one settings to discuss your disease
and the support you have in Mae's Breath as you cope.

We're excited for this next step as we provide yet another resource to join in on
a support group from your own home. We hope you take advantages of this free service and we hope to provide you with your needs in support.

Enough Blog Series 1 Outview 1

I was shocked last week when I heard the Queen of disco Donna Sommers died at the age of 63….
Supposedly of lung cancer!

63…a year younger than my mom a year and 7 months ago. When I got home
that evening I dozed off to awaken from channel 7 news speaking of the Queen and
Her death may have been due to lung cancer. I shivered when I heard the last part –Lung cancer.
The following day on the radio they spoke of how she felt her illness may have stemmed from the 9/11 twin towers catastrophe 12 years ago, as she lived close to the vicinity at that time. Quite honestly it wouldn’t be a surprise as so many people who lived, assisted, escaped on that day, have been diagnosed with some very uncommon illnesses years later.

Another reason why the plight of lung cancer is such a big deal; we have more and more people affected yet bringing awareness to lung cancer is barely being heard. We will continue to do our part at Mae’s Breath Foundation- little by little.

Side note-
We want to think The Church Pension Group for allowing Richard Sarrabo to give a few words in representing Mae’s Breath.

To Breath Should not be Discriminatory
